Caroline Mercier, Owner, Operator and Head Trainer at Rendez-Vous Farm.

Caroline has over 30 years of experience starting, training, riding, managing and showing top level horses. She has ridden and trained with some of the top leading professionals including Kim Kirton, Peter Leone, Jeffrey Wells and George Morris, just to name a few. Caroline has competed successfully, at the National and International level with wins at Spruce Meadows, The WEF, The Gold Cup, Devon, The Hamptons Classic and other top rated horse shows.

Today Caroline dedicates her life and career to helping horses and riders reach their full potential, no matter their level or discipline.

 

Kaitlyn Boggio, Trainer

Kaitlyn Boggio has over 15 years of experience in the equestrian industry. After a very busy and successful child and junior career competing in the “A” circuit in the hunter, equitation and jumper rings Kaitlyn pursued an education at UCONN and earned a degree in Animal Science with a concentration in Equine studies. While at school Kaitlyn worked as a teacher’s assistant and taught lessons, trained and started horses and managed all sales horses. Kaitlyn represented UCONN at the IHSA National Finals and finished 12 th in the nation and was awarded the top female MVP award as the top Athlete of all club sports. After graduation Kaitlyn rode for, worked with and trained under Scott Stewart and Ken Berkely from River’s Edge, Missy Clark and John Brennan from North Run and trained out of and managed Cavallo Farm. Today Kaitlyn dedicates her life and career to riding, managing, training and showing top level horses as well as teaching and developing riders of all levels.

 

Patrick Stanton, Trainer and Resident Farrier

Patrick is a farrier, horse trainer and former co-founder of one of the world's leading luxury horseback safaris. He has spent his life developing his horsemanship skills while traveling the globe working with young and ‘problem’ horses. Patrick is a graduate of the country’s oldest and most selective farrier program at the Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine and has over ten years of farriery experience. Patrick is based here at Rendez-Vous Farm where his skill as a farrier and experience as a trainer are helping horses and riders achieve their potential.
