Caroline Mercier, Owner, Operator and Head Trainer at Rendez-Vous Farm.

Caroline has over 30 years of experience starting, training, riding, managing and showing top level horses. She has ridden and trained with some of the top leading professionals including Kim Kirton, Peter Leone, Jeffrey Wells and George Morris, just to name a few. Caroline has competed successfully, at the National and International level with wins at Spruce Meadows, The WEF, The Gold Cup, Devon, The Hamptons Classic and other top rated horse shows.

Today Caroline dedicates her life and career to helping horses and riders reach their full potential, no matter their level or discipline.

Patrick Stanton, Trainer and Resident Farrier

Patrick is a farrier, horse trainer and co-founder of one of the world's leading luxury mobile horseback safaris. He has spent his life developing his horsemanship skills while traveling the globe working with young and 'problem' horses. Patrick received the highest score in the nation on his American Farrier's Association certification written examination after graduating from one of the country's oldest and most selective farrier programs at the Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Patrick spent 3 years working under world renowned farrier Michael Wildenstein during which time he was introduced to cutting edge therapeutic and sport horse modalities.

Patrick has over twenty years of farriery experience and is focused on the hoof care of high-end performance horses. He is based here at Rendez-Vous Farm, where his skill as a farrier and experience as a trainer are helping horses and riders achieve their potential.

Nicholas Latina, Rider and Trainer at Rendez-Vous Farm

Nick has dedicated his life to the world of show jumping. From an early age, his ability was noticed by top professionals in the sport. He was developed by Julie Winkel, Jens Baackman, Hans Thorben Rüder and Paul Schockemöhle. Having ridden for these leading trainers, his knowledge of starting, training and competing horses at every level is extensive. His approach is gentle, patient and effective, making him a valued member of our team.
